Founded in 1972, Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage has grown to the company it is today through a continuing process of business evolution. Acquisitions and mergers have kept the company thriving and it remains one of the leading companies in Myrtle Beach and the surrounding areas.
In 2017, the company merged with Coldwell Banker Sea Coast in Wilmington, N.C. and Coldwell Banker Advantage in Raleigh, N.C., giving a tremendous boost to the company's footprint and increasing the overall size to 45 offices and 1700 sales associates. Brian Moxey became the third president of the company after founder Paul Malone and 2nd president Don Smith both retired. Today, Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage has offices between North Myrtle Beach and Georgetown, SC and closed yet another record year. Numerous high profile agents have migrated from other local companies to join forces with the organization.
Throughout the years, company personnel have filled leadership positions in all areas of the community including Better Business Bureau, Chamber of Commerce, Coastal Carolina University, United Way and the Waccamaw Community Foundation as well as professional talent shared in numerous positions in the Coastal Carolinas Association of Realtors. The company has had the distinction of having 7 of it's employees or sales associates serve as president of the local Association of REALTORS with a number of them serving at the State level. Staff members contribute regularly to United Way, Habitat for Humanity and the American Red Cross where long time sales associate Janice Sialiano was recognized on a National Level for founding and continuing to oversee the annual Christmas Day dinner.
The future will offer further evolution of employing our real estate knowledge and technology to an increasingly sophisticated and permanent Myrtle Beach area.
